Leading Lawyers magazine has named our firm’s founding partners Margaret “Peggy” McCormick and James Hallagan as the top two lawyers practicing Immigration Family Law in Illinois. Peggy McCormick was listed as the #1 Immigration Family Law lawyer in Illinois, and James Hallagan, was listed as the #2 Immigration Family Law lawyer in Illinois. And the firm’s partner Derek Strain was listed as the #8 Immigration Family Law lawyer in Illinois. Leading Lawyers is a division of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, founded in 1854, and Leading Lawyers are nominated and recommended by their peers among the top lawyers in their area of practice.
