Sarah Kurup joined Minsky, McCormick, & Hallagan, P.C. in 2017 as an associate attorney. Sarah’s practice focuses on the employment-based Green Card process, specifically the PERM labor certification process. During law school, Sarah externed with the Cook County Court, Chancery Division, and interned with the Kane Legal Clinic of the Chicago Lighthouse for People Who Are Blind and Visually Impaired. She was also the recipient of CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Immigration Law, Law of the European Union, and Negotiations; as well as the Benjamin Hooks Distinguished Public Service Award.
Sarah’s passion for immigration law is personal: many of her family members, including her husband, are immigrants. Having supported and participated in the immigration processes of family and friends, Sarah understands the concerns and anxieties clients may have with the process.
